JIS G3115 specifies the hot-rolled steel plates with improved weldability to be used for pressure vessels,equipments for high pressure service(excluding those to be used for high temperature and low temperature services).This standard covers steel SPV235,SPV315,SPV355,SPV410,SPV450 and SPV490.These plates are widely used in the fabrication of boilers and pressure vessels in industries such as petrochemical and manufacturing.
